Be able to explain why an object with charge is attracted to a neutral object.
Be able to define electric current and electric potential difference.
Be able to discuss the basic structure of an atom
Know the relationship between electric current, electric resistance, and electric potential difference (Ohm's law)

Wednesday Discuss electric charge, electric forces, and atomic structure.

Outside of class: Read Ch. 4 Sections 4-7.  Start going over the chapter 4 review questions.

Friday Discuss the basic ideas of electric circuits.

Outside of class: Read Ch. 4 Sections 8-12.   Do Ch. 4 questions 10, 15, 17, 21, 22, and 28.
