Main Objectives

	Be able to describe how the interference pattern changes when the number of sources is increased
	Be able to solve problems relating to the diffraction of waves when passing througha hole or a slit

Tuesday

Discuss interference of light waves from multiple sources. Discuss the phenomena of diffraction. Small group practice problems on interference and diffraction.

Outside of class: Read Ch. 22 Sec. 4 and all of Ch. 37. Complete Ch 22 homework problems 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 15, 17, 30 and 37 for next Tuesday.
