Main Objectives for Week:
- Be able to identify series and parallel connections of bulbs
- Be able to explain why brightness of bulbs in series is different from bulbs in
parallel
- Be able to explain how the brightness of bulbs in a series circuit changes when you
add more bulbs
- Be able to explain how the brightness of bulbs in a parallel circuit changes when
you add more bulbs
- Know how adding more bulbs in series or parallel affects the total resistance of
the circuit
- Be able to use your model of an electric circuit to predict the current flow in a
simple circuit.
- Be able to predict how the brightness of bulbs will change when a change is made to
the circuit.
- Be able to explain how exponential growth and linear growth are different.
- Know what doubling time is and how to calculate it.
- Know what half-life is.
