| Monday |
Get checked off on Section 16. Complete Experiment 17.1,
Exercise 17.2, and Experiment 17.3. Experiment 17.1 is somewhat tedious, exercise
patience. For 17.3 you should write a description of the demonstration experiment in
your notebook. You do not need the specific numbers used in the experiment. If
you have time, begin on Section 18. Outside of class: Complete
homework question 16.1 for Wednesday. If you did not get it done in class, complete
the first two exercises in Section 18 before Friday. Pay particular attention to
your explanations in 18.2. |
| Wednesday |
Lecture on electric charge, electric force, and electric energy. Outside
of class: Read the handout on electric charge. |
| Friday |
Complete as much of Section 18 as you can. This section is very
good review for the final exam, because you will be using many of the skills you developed
in the first half of the semester such as proportional reasoning, graphing, and writing
expressions. Outside of class: Finish Section 18 at home, if you
didn't get through all of it in class. It is important that you be ready to start 19
on Monday. Complete homework questions: 18.1, 18.3, and 18.4. |
