Main Objectives for Week:
- Know what a scientist means when they use the word "conserved".
- Determine whether or not mass is conserved
- Determine whether or not volume is conserved
- Be able to clearly distinguish between the meanings of mass and volume

We will spend about half of class reviewing for Wednesday's exam.
During the other half, you should complete Experiments 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. Outside
of class: Study for Wednesday's exam. |

Exam 1 on Sections 1-6. Outside of class: No
assignment for Friday. If you are behind on section 7, you might want to come in on
Thursday and get caught up. See me if you want to make an appointment to come in. |

Complete 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7.8 and 8.1. Outside of
class: Complete homework problem 7.1. |
