- Learn the meaning homogeneous and hetrogeneous
- Practice using words to discribe how you solved a mathematical problem
- Learn how to find the uncertainty in calculated quantities such as density
- Measure the density of solids and liquids

Complete sections 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, and 9.4. Outside of
class: Complete sections 9.5, 9.6, 10.1, and 10.2 in your notebook before Friday.
Complete homework problem 9.1 to be turned in Wednesday. |

Quiz 3 on Sections 7 and 8. Continue energy discussions with
emphasis on thermal energy and chemical energy. Outside of class:
Finish reading energy handout if you haven't already done so. Be sure to have
finished up through 10.2 in your notebook by Friday. |

Complete the rest of Section 10 and Experiments 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3 Outside
of class: Complete homework problems 10.2, 10.4, 11.1 and A.1 to be turned in
