- Understand uses and misuses of the equal sign
- Solve word problems using a specific solution format

Complete exercises 14.4, 14.5, 14.6, 14.7, 14.8, 14.9 and 15.1. Outside
of class: Complete homework problems 14.4, 14.5, 14.8 and 14.9 for Wednesday. |
| Wednesday |
Lecture and experiment on understanding exponential growth. Outside
of class: Read section 15 again even though you will have read it on Monday. It
is important! |
| Friday |
Complete sections 15.2, 15.3, and 16.1. If you finish early and
are checked off, you may work on your homework. Outside of class:
Complete homework problems 14.11 and 14.13 for Monday. These are much longer than
our typical homework problems. Be sure to allow yourself sufficient time to get them
done. |
